Temporary Warehouse Worker

Warehouse assistants are hired to work in a warehouse environment for a limited period. Their main responsibilities include receiving, inspecting and storing items.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle inbound operations: receive shipments, sort items, check quality and quantity, store items in designated areas.
  • Perform outbound operations: pick orders, pack items, prepare them for release or delivery.
  • Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) tools to locate storage slots, track stock, manage item locations.
  • Carry out general warehouse housekeeping: ensure clean and safe working conditions.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for packing, labeling and handling items.
  • Assist with stock/inventory checks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Warehousing skills
  • Experience in warehouse management
  • Able to lift heavy objects
  • Good communication skills
Additional Requirements:
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems
  • Basic computer skills
