Responsible for inspection, service and repair of all firefighting and rescue equipment used onboard the vessels which includes the gas detection and temperature and pressure calibrator devices.
Assist supervisor in carrying out inspection and servicing on assigned jobs and ensure service completed to the fullest satisfaction of vessel crew and Superintendents.
Ensure all activity is in line with company set policy and quality Procedures. Also adhering to the standard operating procedures prescribed in company quality manual.
Ensure all servicing onboard and ashore at workshop are as per schedule set and instructed by the department head.
Prepare all documents such as service report, time sheet and issuance of final certificate upon work completion as necessary.
WORKING REQUIREMENTS
With minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in lifeboat/davit inspection is essential
Knowledge on various FFE (Fire Fighting Equipment) is an added advantage.
Possessing lifeboat manufacturer license is preferred.
Coordinate with local third-party service companies to provide quality service
