Insurance Specialist, Private Bank

<p>Our client, a leading international private bank, is seeking an <strong>Insurance Specialist</strong> to join its <strong>Wealth Planning team</strong>. This role focuses on supporting and expanding the life insurance business in Asia by partnering with Relationship Managers and external brokers to deliver high-net-worth insurance solutions.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Partner with Relationship Managers to identify opportunities, provide insurance expertise, and coordinate client meetings with approved brokers.</li><li>Support clients and brokers throughout the insurance process, including case administration, credit coordination, and periodic portfolio reviews.</li><li>Manage relationships with external brokers and insurers, maintain product lists, and oversee the approval and periodic review of insurance products and commission structures.</li><li>Conduct and organize training sessions and client events to enhance insurance product knowledge and promote integrated wealth and succession planning solutions.</li><li>Monitor and report on insurance activities, including pipeline tracking, monthly/quarterly sales reports, and regulatory updates, ensuring all activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, or a related field; CMFAS Modules 5, 9, and 9A are an advantage.</li><li>Minimum 5+ years of experience in life insurance advisory within a bank, insurance brokerage, or insurance company.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of life insurance solutions for high-net-worth clients (e.g., universal life, premium-financing structures).</li><li>Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.</li><li>Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a small, collaborative team environment.
